The mind is a powerful tool, when properly fed with the Word of God, it is easier to resist evil. You can rebuke Satan and evil. Get close to the ills of the world, temptations will follow.

When the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, Solomon chose wisdom over wealth, long life, or the destruction of his enemies. When you're walking with Christ, your words become gentle, kind, and soft. They’re not boastful, loud, or bitter. Your actions match your words, because they have meaning.

Wisdom is a constant guide in our lives, leading us every moment of the day. The Lord not only directs our paths but also strengthens us in our moments of weakness, lifting us up when we feel overwhelmed.

For the past 20+ years, the number of tears that have dropped from my eyes could fill a lake. It is an over dramatic statement, rarely is there a day tears do not fall from my eyes. I just keep asking Jesus, Why me.

The last blog was about our internal self of Vainness written by Solomon’s wisdom in Ecclesiastes. This one is about our outer self of Vileness.

The Salvation of our soul to those that believe in Jesus is God’s greatest gift thanks to Jesus dying on the cross, first for the Jewish people and next for non-Jewish like me and maybe you.

Vanity is something I know first-hand; it ruled my life for the first 30+ years. It is ruling people today and in the future.

Memorial Day weekend brings me back to my early childhood growing up in Wisconsin. It is also a remembrance of those soldiers who have fallen in battle. A few years back it took on a new meaning.
