Light of the World

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  Matthew 5:14-15 KJV

It is easy to fall into the trap of politics, neighborly disputes, work, sports, every day life, etc. where a person gets caught up in the moment.  We see this more and more with social media and the ability to film every situation.  Violence, Verbal Assaults, Bullying, are becoming the norm.  I removed myself from Facebook after one comment I made, I looked at myself, and said really.  This is awful.  Deleted my profile immediately.  

Linked In has joined the Facebook crowd instead of being about business, the majority of the posts are about ones feelings, opinions, rarely based on facts.  I got shouted down by one individual solely for disagreeing with their point using facts and data vs their opinion.  Did not matter what I said, it was their point and anyone disagreeing with them was going to be shouted down with vitriol and vileness.  

There is also a lot of self promotion where people try to act humble and congratulate themselves for getting an award.  People actually post a thank you to themselves for wining an award.  That is the strangest thing to me, foreign that vainess still has it roots dug deep in people's lives.  

I was under the impression that the End Times may not happen in my lifetime, I still think this, but I am seeing evidence especially when people are going to lose their jobs for not taking a vaccine or are being canceled for what they say or do.  Teh strange thing with the Virus is the truth is coming out where people said things in the beginning and were shouted down for these thoughts are now coming true.  I knew masks did not work when I was on a plane and the guy behind me kept farting the whole trip.  My mask was not going to protect me from a virus.  

Mental Health is a huge issue in the US.and will continue to grow as adults have become the bully after years of telling our kids to stop bullying.  Which is why we need to be the light shining the Love Of Christ like we are on a hill for all to see.  We can't hide our light but we take it with us anywhere and everywhere we go.  God always puts people in our path that we can share His Love.  It is up to each of us to walk in the Light, we need to be different, we need to share the Love of Christ because this Love is the greatest Love any one person can receive.  No human being can give like God's Love gives to us who call on His name where we love the Lord with all of our heart soul mind and strength.  Be the Light that Shines bright on the Hill or Lights up a room when we walk in.  The Lord's Light.
