Look at the Heart

But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7 KJV
And the Lord said to Samuel: Look not on his countenance, nor on the height of his stature: because I have rejected him, nor do I judge according to the look of man: for man seeth those things that appear, but the Lord beholdeth the heart 1 Samuel 16:7 Douay Rheims
And the Lord seide to Samuel, Biholde thou not his cheer, nethir hiynesse of his stature; for Y castide hym awei, and Y demyde not bi `the siyt of man; for a man seeth tho thingis that ben opyn, but the Lord biholdith the herte. 1 Samuel 16:7 Wycliffe
Back in 2019, I had the joy of traveling to Chennai, India. It was truly an amazing trip and mention my travels in my books. My cell phone did not have a good camera nor did I ever think I would use these pictures in the future. It is with great joy to announce to the world, I am not a professional photographer.
Why the pictures? There seems to be a growing trend that Jesus was not white. Duh, Jesus is God who walked in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. However, just like the garden, Satan is deceiving people, especially Christians, into falling for a trap. What trap? The same trap Satan asked Eve, " hath God said..." is now being used that Jesus was not white but brown / middle eastern all because of who his mother was. Hence, the picture above shows a painting of Mary from Luke which ended up in Chennai through Thomas, yes doubting Thomas, who preached the gospel in India Tamil region (Chennai). I will let you decide the truth but wanted to share a painting from one of the followers of Christ in who he saw Mary as a person. My guess is teh little boy is Jesus but that is purely an assumption on my part.
Paul warns us in the letter to Titus where he talks about what it means to be a Christian
Titus 3:9 (KJV) "But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself."
The picture below is of Thomas being murdered by a local tribesman with brown skin (maybe hard to tell with my great photography). Luke and the painter of Thomas being murder show the outer appearance of both Mary and Thomas. Both of these pictures are located at The Church at St Thomas Mount. For a better picture of Thomas murder, do a quick search.
Here is my point, the world and Satan are dividing us by race, sex, and gender. The mob is ruling stronger today just like it did when they sent Jesus to the cross. One could fall for the trap Satan is laying by being concerned with race, sex and gender or we as Christian's need to follow Paul's advice to Titus. It is easy to get sucked into the Mob which say and do outlandish things, but in the end we need to listen to Paul, they are condemning themselves by such foolish talk.
