Ponder the path of life

MY son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding: That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. Proverbs 5:1-6 KJV
My son, attend to my wisdom, and incline thy ear to my prudence, That thou mayst keep thoughts, and thy lips may preserve instruction. Mind not the deceit of a woman. For the lips of a harlot are like a honeycomb dropping, and her throat is smoother than oil. But her end is bitter as wormwood, and sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down into death, and her steps go in as far as hell. They walk not by the path of life, her steps are wandering, and unaccountable. Proverbs 5:1-6 Douay Reims
There are many ways one could look at this Proverb. The writer insinuates that a woman is to blame for infidelity. I have always heard the saying it takes two to tango (sex). It is valid in the United States that fatherless homes are primarily in the inner city or underserved communities. Another valid argument is that divorce rates are high in affluent and middle-class neighborhoods. If Solomon wrote this, he did not follow the wisdom he was giving out. Do as I say, not as I do. Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines; however, the Holy Bible is clear that these wives and concubines turned King Solomon away from God to follow other idols (! Kings 11:3-4).
It would be great to know if Solomon wrote this before or after his wives and concubines. If before, he did not follow the Wisdom of the Lord. If after, it would make more sense as a warning about what he went through with these women.
I look at today’s society, where people think a man can give birth; a man can have a period. It is genuinely a wisdomless society that believes men and women can change their sex and call it gender. You also see women who support killing innocent babies and call it a choice to protect their bodies. I am not saying men are not at fault or have no responsibilities; we do have the same duties as a woman does to preserve life.
Each one of us has to Ponder (think) of which path to choose: life with Christ or death in Hell. Those are the only two choices.
