Proverbial Wisdom

It has been six or seven months since my last post "Where did Wisdom Go?" Please read this one https://walktogod.com/blog/f/where-did-wisdom-go before moving forward with this post. It struck me as odd, my son of all people, while watching TV I turned to a Christian Broadcast where they were talking about Proverbs 5-7, and he mentions why don't you write about Proverbs.
Over the course of the next 31+ weeks, we will discuss Proverbs exclusively on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The post could be about you or groups of people, government, business, politics, social media, and other influences which can add or take away from your wisdom. As Solomon writes in Proverbs 1:6 " and their dark sayings" (KJV) or "and their mysterious sayings" Douay Rheims (Latin Vulgate).
Why would Solomon write "Dark Sayings". When we read Proverbs 5-7 these words will come back to haunt Solomon and King David. Proverbs is about gaining "Light Wisdom" of truth against "Dark Sayings" of lies, hypocrisy, vainness, and vile living. Go back to when the serpent tempted Eve in the garden by saying " hath God said" and gave half-truths which are still lies. I see this a lot in the world today and we accept this as normal behavior. Listen to any politician or reporter and you get half the story or partial truth with pertinent facts or details left out.
There are prosperity Christians who think God will bless them with wealth even though the majority of Jesus' teaching was against this becoming a priority in people's lives. Others question Jesus when calamity or painful events, why would God do this or that. The Holy Bible is ripe with stories of deep pain and struggle. Noah watched his family, friends and other people drown while he was safe in a boat. How would that make you feel? Abraham goes to war to bring back the people of Sodom and Gomorrah while only a short time after God destroys these two nations because of their wicked ways. Job had his whole life destroyed. Moses was orphaned as a baby, lived with Pharoah's daughter, and had to rescue his birth family & the Jewish people from slavery while destroying those who raised him as a child. Jesus slept where his head lay every night as well as took the nails on the cross. Read about Paul (Saul) once he became a Christian, many people would have abandoned their faith with what he went through as he walked with Christ.
Life is not fair which is why Solomon warns us there is evil and what they speak are "dark sayings." I purposely used the photo of a library of books which my guess has many "dark sayings and teachings". That is why it was hard for me to write books or these posts because the Holy Bible has the "Light Wisdom" we need in life but people are drawn to the "Dark Sayings". Don't believe me, read the news, watch TV, look at social media posts, etc... Are they speaking words of "Light Wisdom" or "Dark Sayings"? Thought so.
This will be a good journey for all of us to take. If you want to make a comment or insights, I look forward to it.
