Receive and Give

To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. Proverbs 1:3-4 KJV
to receive the instruction of doctrine, justice, and judgment, and equity: 4 To give subtilty to little ones, to the young man knowledge and understanding Proverbs 1:3-4 Douay Reims
Let's break apart each noun one by one.
First, wisdom or doctrine comes from the Lord through the Holy Bible. We can come to the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the Holy Bible by reading it ourselves, through live experiences, and through others like a Pastor, friend, etc...As Proverbs 1:7 says "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom". We need to have reverence toward the Lord.
Second, justice is knowing right or wrong or being morally right according to the Lord. We are not to be right in the eyes of the world but in the eyes of the Lord what is the right thing to do. If you see someone hungry, feed them. If someone needs something, give it to them. We need to be the light and love of the Lord in this truly lost world.
Third, judgment follows the first two because even though we are to give freely, we need to discern or judge what we are giving, why we are giving it, and to whom. Let me give you an example. If a person(s) say they need money yet they go out and buy drugs leading to their death. Was that a good judgment or discernment? Or a person who begs for money on the street, only to find out they live in a mansion. Or we could get real and talk about some Christian pastors and members who use their position or faith to deceive people. This is not talking about judging people but having judgment or discernment towards everyday life.
Fourth, equity means being fair to those with and without faith in God. This is perhaps the hardest of them all because of certain biases, opinions, etc... I see this in everyday life where equity is lacking. It is more than being fair it is about how you behave or act around others that may have different beliefs or even the same belief system with various opinions.
Those are the four we are to receive through the Lord's instructions in the Holy Bible in order to treat others. Read the stories and you will find almost every scenario of how to treat and mistreat others. When you read the Holy Bible, take into account these four nouns and ask yourself how this story pertains to me in everyday life with others.
The second half of the message is when you are to give "Subtility" to the simple and little ones. This is a hard interpretation so I looked for other subtilty in the Holy Bible. The only other time it is used is in Acts 13:10 "And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?" The Tanakh version uses the word Prudence while the Geneva version uses Sharpness of Wit. After reading all of these negative connotations, subtilty, prudence, and sharpness of wit lead me down a path of remembering my children during their beginning years. I truly believe my wife provided the right amount of subtility, prudence, and sharpness of wit to instruct our kids to know right from wrong, truth from fiction/lies, goodness from evil, and light from dark. The amount of wisdom she had truly blessed this family. All of it was based on the Lord. It set the tone for our kids to be good kids which gives them the foundation of being built on the Lord's words.
Once my wife did her sharpness matching wit for wit with the Kids, we are to give knowledge and understanding (discretion) to our youth. The most crucial piece is the early stages of a child's development. You see this every day when parents are giving in to their child(ren) saying it is love when it is truly demonic. It is with100% certain that Satan is attacking our youth through their parents. Our youth are in total disarray lacking any sort of Godly Wisdom but living in this irrational world of godless filth, lies, and untruths thanks to the adults running the asylum. The world through satan is making new rules for a godless society that is the complete opposite of the Lord's wisdom in the Holy Bible.
You can blame our youth for their issues but they all started with bad parents who lacked the wisdom of the Holy Bible which the Lord gave freely to us. From my youth until now, we live in two totally different and opposite places in time. I can't believe how far from the Lord's wisdom we have come in the last 10-20 years. This coming from a former Atheist who like Paul found Christ who shined his light bright into my life. My head is spinning from the lack of any wisdom on this earth. You would think Christians would be leading in this wisdom but they have fallen for the trap as well. Only time will tell if we get back to the wisdom of the Lord or continue in the emptiness of evil in Satan.
