Strange Woman (Part I)

To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God. For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.

Proverbs 5 goes into the depth of the strange woman (women) when it comes to having sex outside of your marriage. I know the woman is one whom the Lord is speaking about, but we could reverse it and say the man is guilty of targeting married women as well. The top two things that end the majority of divorces to me are sex outside of marriage/lack of sex in the marriage, and money. 

The woman, in this case, is not walking with the Lord. We see this time and time again when a family is destroyed because a person is unfaithful, most likely the man, but the woman is equally guilty. There will be temptations every day, and one of them is sexual desires and lust.  Today, we see same-sex and sex trafficking of minors as growing paths leading to death besides infidelity.  The Lord is warning us to be aware of these types of people who are there to steal your “path to life” with Christ.
