The Other Side

Just a few days ago, about 100 individuals in the streets of Chicago caused property damage, assault, and caused chaos.  In Los Angeles, a large number, maybe 100+, ransack a grocery store stealing merchandise and causing fear amongst the employees.  One woman in Chicago asked where are their parents.  Great question as it is was my immediate first thought when I saw both of these on the news.  Where are their parents?  Many of these parent(s) failed their kids.  

I love this line in Proverbs 1:20 "Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets."   Every one of them lacked "Wisdom".  The streets watched the vainness and purely evil actions of these young kids. Just like the woman who asked, where are their parents.  Where were the parents in giving these kids the truth about fearing the Lord while seeking wisdom, knowledge, and understanding?   My guess is a good portion of these kids have Christian parents.  I always tell my kids, to hang around with kids that avoid evil.  The sad truth is we have parents and a government that has caused chaos in the home.  A parent took the rights of schools to stop prayer in school.  Parent(s) in the form of a Supreme Court somehow found a way to make abortion legal in "Roe vs Wade" as they made up rights that were not included in the text.  Just made it up.  Thankfully, a new Supreme Court with many who fear God ended the federal rights to an abortion.  Parent(s) think men can give birth and have periods.  Let me repeat that, parents actually believe men can give birth to a child.  Imagine being their child (ren) and growing up with wisdomless parent(s).  Parent(s) think there are more than two genders or no genders.  Parent(s) think guns kill people, not people.  Parent(s) created safe spaces for kids.  If you disagree with any of this, the mob will shout you down, and you could lose your job or your life.  

The world is becoming unwise and chaos is picking up speed but the same could be said when Jesus walked the earth.  It is easy to forget, the mob ruled when Jesus walked the earth so much so that they nailed him to the cross for Blaphsemy.  My challenge to each of you is to love God and love your neighbor.  It is hard, I know.  Every day I walk my dog around my neighborhood, I wave good morning to everyone, and about 60% of the people will wave to me.  When I am in the park, about the same number say hi when I say hi to them.  40% do not acknowledge me when I say hi to their face.  It all starts with bad adults/parents.  You wonder why kids act the way they do.  One of my favorite lines I like to say, see a bad kid, go meet their parents.  You will have your answer.
