The Tolerant Mob

The perfect sign "Hate is a Virus" is the opposite of Love.  In the last book before Revelation, Jude reminds us.  

"21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." KJV

Satan divides us through hate causing division amongst gender, race, and sexuality, to name a few.  They are not the only ones but seem to be at the forefront of the Tolerant Mob, just like the Religious and Roman Politicians who put Jesus on the Cross. The Tolerant Mob decides what is tolerant and what is not.

Have you ever thought about the silence except for Peter, who cut off a man's ear with a sword when the Tolerant Mob took Jesus from the Garden?  The others were silent as if not to be aligned with the message of Jesus Christ.   I wonder if they were concerned about being called out and their lives ruined if the Tolerant Mob found out who they were and what they stood for in following Jesus Christ.  Even Peter denied knowing Jesus Christ three times, but it could have been four by my account.  

Like in Jesus' day, the Tolerant mob is still moving forward with the verbal persecution of Christians who stand firm on the Truth of the Word of God.  What is the truth about Gender, Race, and Sexuality?

Gender is the easy one as Genesis 1 says, " 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."  KJV.  This includes all animals, by the way, but I digress.  A banana slug has both male and female parts and can mate with itself or another slug.  There are very few exceptions, but that is one.  Some humans are born with both female and male genitals or are not born with any genitalia.  

Gender all boils down to X and Y Chromosomes.  We all know that.  In fact, I just did a quick search, and both Mayo Clinic and Yale have referencable articles stating the facts about the critical indicator are X and Y Chromosomes.  A female egg only has X Chromosome, while a Male sperm has X and Y CHromosomes to determine the gender of the baby's birth; whether Female X and Male Y .  Trust Science, you don't get to pick a gender based on feeling.  Now, you can certainly play the part of the opposite sex if you choose to do so.

Race is easy as we just read God only created people, Male and Female  No mention of any physical features.  The Lord gives us a significant reason why Race and Appearance are so important to man yet not to God as 1 Samuel 16 says, " 7 But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart."  Humans always look at a person's appearance with beauty and skin being at the top.  That is why we need to look at the heart of an individual as Christians.  I always say this: you can tell true friends who celebrate with you in the highs and stay quiet in the lows.    Think back to Job, who just lost everything except his wife. His friends stayed silent for 7 days until Job spoke then the floodgates opened up as his supposed friends lambasted Job.  

There are times for groups, i.e., language, similar values or interests, and a person can identify by a country, religion, and even a sports team.  This is not about groups but about individual thoughts and actions on race or, more importantly, about looking at each individual for who they are and their heart and less about their appearance.  Easier said than done in today's world, but nothing has changed since the beginning of time.  

Before we leave and transition to sex, a woman talking or singing to Solomon in the Song of Solomon 1: 6 "Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept."   Here is a sweet woman worried about her appearance before the Great and Powerful Solomon because her siblings were angry with her.  Yet, Solomon finds her with radiant beauty, which he explains in the finest detail.  My guess is the sisters were angry about her beauty.  Cinderella anyone.  

Lastly, sex.  Wow, Solomon definitely had a lot to say about sex in the Song of Solomon.  If you want to read about God's idea about sex outside of marriage (man and woman), turn to Leviticus 18.    In reading articles, listening to podcasts, or even in person, I have heard that the Lord never said anything about same-sex; however, we find if Leviticus 18:22, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination"   The Lord considers it an abomination which means the Lord hates same-sex. Wait, God is Love. How can he hate same-sex couples?  The Lord designed sex to be in the confines of marriage to produce a child, which leads us back to gender, which leads us back to race, which leads us back to Sex.  They are all intertwined, so Satan uses the three to cause division.  Any and all sex outside of marriage, including same, opposite, self, with an animal and/or seeing someone, not your spouse, naked, whatever the scenario, is not what the Lord designed sex to be.  

Now back to Titus.  We can't fight these issues as the Tolerant Mob will berate us with names as they know the facts listed above but will choose feelings over the Lord's facts to guide our lives in the Holy Bible.  Like the Tolerant Mob in Jesus' day, they are equally as vile and vain today and will be into tomorrow as they destroy the truth of the Word of God.   On Tuesday, I wrote about saving souls; that is what we as Christians need to do.  Jude reminds us there are two ways, compassion for some and fear for others.  Yes, hating even what they are doing.
