Unity of the Faith (Part 3)

Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: Ephesians 4:13 KJV
Until we all meet into the unity of faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the age of the fulness of Christ; Ephesians 4:13 Douay Rheims
till we run all, into unity of faith and of knowing of God's Son, into a perfect man, after the measure of the age of the plenty of Christ; Ephesians 4:13 Wycliffe
For Christians, it is imperative to have Unity in Faith. We rely on Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, to ensure the body of Christ (Church) carries this unity in making perfection of each Christian saint in each ministry they are called.
Paul gives the early church a warning, just like it is relevant for us today as Ephesians 4:14 says "That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;". Our unity is in Love for Jesus Christ and the Church, not what a man says is unity. So how do we know if we are walking with Christ or in the world?
Paul tells us those walking in the world will be in the vanity of their mind, darkened understanding, alienated from the life of God in ignorance, blindness of the heart, having sexual desires, greedy, liars, thieves, and deceitful lusts. They will have bitterness, wrath, anger, noisy (clamour) or loud, speak evil about others, and wish harm upon others.
Now Christians, we are to be a new person in righteousness and true holiness. How do we do this? We speak truth to our neighbors, when we are angry we need to forgive before the sun goes down. Our work for Christ and ourselves should be good and give to those who are in need. We are to be kind, tenderhearted, while forgiving others for Christ has forgiven us.
Back to our recent election, it has shined a light on the darkness of evil and it is deep, dark, and void of any light. There are many wolves in sheep's clothing who have alienated themselves from the life of God through their ignorance and the blindness of their heart. It is truly sad to see being evil is now good and good is now evil. We need to walk in Love even though they will hate us for our Unity of faith in Christ and not unity in the world of darkness.
