Unrighteous Compass

These past few weeks have been hard on me mentally and, quite frankly, spiritually. My faith has been under attack by Satan's army, where arrows are constantly being sent in a barrage. It wears down your soul to the point of zapping all of your strength. The physicality of it is one thing. The stress of spiritual and mental takes its toll even with the shield of faith to quench all of these arrows.
As we just passed through the 4th of July, we celebrated the Declaration of Independence from Britain. Francis Scott Key, in 1814 wrote the Star-Spangled Banner while watching the British Navy bombard Fort McHenry with hundreds and possibly thousands of cannonballs. Only four US and 1 British died in the bombings. I suggest you take a few minutes to learn the song's history because after the bombing ceased, the US Flag still waved its glory upon the land. God's land.
Evil is all around us. It shines its ugly head every day, even amongst Christians. I write or say all the time, most people believe in God but don't believe God. There is a big difference. The next few years will be a very interesting time. Has God set in motion a person(s) or an event in time to end this chaos? Is there a Noah, Moses, David, Paul, Peter, James, who will lead us back into a righteous compass? Or will the US and the world continue down the path to Revelation and the end times. As the world continues to follow an unrighteous compass, the strength that it is gaining will destroy many of those in its path.
Is our protection from God still with us even when a Navy unleashes a barrage of cannonballs? Or do those cannonballs start to destroy the Fabric of the United States and the world? The depth and breadth of evil are real, and destruction is in its path. As for me and my house, we have blood on our door. The blood of Christ on the Cross, who gives us the protection to put on the full armor of God.
