Where did Wisdom go?

To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity; To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels: To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:3-7 KJV
My son recently graduated from High School, where he said the challenge with those who were honors students was they lacked common sense they lacked wisdom. They were book smart, but people dumb, having little to no life skills and were quite scary.
I am not saying this to be mean but to shine a light on where the World is headed. The writer of Isaiah said it best "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! " Isaiah 5:50 KJV. We see this today where darkness has taken over.
In the book, The Pilgrim's Progress, a man named Christian meets up with Mr. Wordly Wiseman on his journey toward Christ. Mr. Wordly Wiseman lived in a major metropolis called the Town of Carnal Policy. Christian has a burden to find the truth of Christ when he encounters Mr. Worldy Wisman, who tries to give advice to Christian on how he can remove the burdens he is carrying. Mr. Wordly Wiseman suggests to Christian that he get rid of the burden quickly to enjoy what God has for his life, the blessing, as Mr. Wordly Wiseman put it, to enjoy what God has given to Christian. After an exchange of words, Mr. Wordly Wiseman sends Christian off to the town of Morality to see a man named Mr. Legality. I highly recommend you read the book; fascinating and full of wisdom. The Holy Bible (KJV) was the key for me to seek out wisdom that helped me "Walk to God" as well as "the Pilgrim's Progres" and James Allen's "As a Man thinketh."
Looking at today's World, it lacks Wisdom, Biblical Wisdom. In fact, the writer of Proverbs 9 says, "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding" Proverbs 9:9-10 KJV. The World no longer fears God thus the next logical statement is they lack wisdom. Fear God, gain wisdom. Love the World, lack wisdom. Before becoming a Christian, I never knew who Jesus Christ was, and thus my "Worldly Wise" self was ignorant of truth and wisdom.
The irony is that even in the early 80s in high school and college in the mid-'80s, I saw professors as uneducated or lacking any wisdom. Sure, they could teach a subject, but life's truth lacked any sense of wisdom. In fact, it led one teacher to call me a Capitalist Freak. Really Professor, you probably make $100,000 a year at the time, and I am getting paid a whopping, wait for it, $3 an hour, and I am the capitalist freak. A teacher gets to sit in the classroom teaching theories with little to no wisdom of reality and, God forbid, Godly wisdom.
I 100% blame our higher education institutions for degrading wisdom in the classroom when they took God out, as I have written several times. When the prayer was brought to the Supreme Court, a worldly counsel said a prayer in schools is unconstitutional and can't be allowed in schools. The same could be said about the Separation of Church and State, not found in any documents but in a letter. What about Roe vs. Wade? Nowhere in the Constitution does it make killing a baby legal. The United States Supreme court and those who voted for these issues lacked Wisdom which starts with the fear of the Lord. Where the Supreme Court Justices get this worldly education, you guessed it, the Higher Education Institutions.
So when a recent Supreme Court Justice nominee can't describe what a "Woman is," she does not fear God, although she claims to be a Christian. She lacks "Wisdom" and "Truth." For the next decade or so, we have a Supreme Court Justice who I pray reads this blog and finds "Wisdom" by fearing the Lord. She will forever be remembered as a person who lacks "Wisdom" until she comes to face the truth in fearing the Lord. How sad is that, she lacks wisdom. Now, she is a lost sheep. What are the odds that her pastor talked to her about this lack of fearing God? Yeah, I think you are right, it did not happen. I will do a quick search to see who her pastor is and maybe send him this blog link. I don't want to throw a stone at her.
I will wrap this one up by saying when society says that a man is a woman and a man can give birth and have periods is a society that truly does not fear God and lacks any wisdom and truth. It is calling evil good.
