Over the course of 2026, we will continue our writing and study of Proverbs while also beginning a focused study of the New Testament letters written by Paul, James, Peter, and the Elder who authored the three epistles of John. For the purposes of this study, we will set aside Acts, Romans, Hebrews, and Revelation. I will do my best to write a new blog every Tuesday and Thursday.
Our approach to these letters is grounded in the foundational truths of the Christian faith: that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, was baptized, and walked the earth as God. He taught us to love God, to love our neighbor, and to love ourselves, showing us how we are to walk on earth until we pass away. In the end, Jesus gave His life on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, rose again from the dead, and is now seated at the right hand of God.
