Eye Opening

“A couple months back, my great friend completed his book. While I wasn’t sure what the book was about, I knew he had been writing for a while. I asked for a copy to read. I haven’t been the most religious person my entire life, but as I get older, I have a refined respect and open mind for religion and believe that having it in your life makes for a better understanding in life and spiritually makes every day more important.

The book is a must read. It takes a different approach and much more simplified way of understanding the bible. In my past, I have read different sections of the Bible and Tanakh but the truth is it was hard for me to read and understand in a way which I could relate to want to keep reading. Once I started reading the “Walk To God” by Donald Smith, I kept reading it. It made understanding scriptures easy and was almost like a good sermon. It provides a feeling of involvement even though you are reading. Most importantly I was able to relate which gave me greater interest to keep reading and understand more about the Bible. It is a very easy read and I recommend this for not just ones who are looking into understanding about GOD more but ones who already have a great understanding about the Bible and Scriptures of the Bible.

Thanks Don for opening my eyes yet again and providing me something that I have read and continue to go back and read. I have started “My Walk To God”.”

A Precious Gift

“I would first like to “Thank” Don for writing this book and sharing it with people who are finding ways to walk to God. This is the precious gift I ever have got in my life. It was pre-planned by our Lord to meet you and he sent you to know more about him. Through you I’m walking with the God now.

The 2 below verses are for you. Proverbs 18:24 A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend… Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.

The book and the blog “Walk To God” has changed me a lot. I understood what it is to be a Christian and how we should live and be with others. The examples/instances in this book are simply awesome. It introduces us to people and the way things changed for them when they started to believe him. The book influenced me to read “The Holy Bible” more and speak with our Lord through it and spread about our Lord to everyone. I now strongly feel that all my prayers are answered and he is protecting me, have surrendered to him and he is guiding me in every walk of my life. My learning: Meeting God first everyday before meeting people is important. His timing is perfect and he knows what is best for us. I have shared the soft copy of the book to my friends who are struggling to know the truth about him and to get close to him. It is helping them too and I see them talking about The God a lot.”
